For Authors And Publishers
Authors
The quality of content submitted should always be of a good standard, which will equally benefit contributors and the site owner. If you are new to Article Marketing the basic idea is that you submit good quality articles including your author details and links to your websites and if site visitors who want content for their websites or ezines like your articles they may publlsh the articles providing they retain the author details and links.
You gain backlinks to your websites which helps your sites in the search engines and the more times your articles are published the more chances there are of your links being clicked on, improving your traffic. The article source should also be included when the articles are used elsewhere which benefits the directory owners in a similar way..
Members or visitors may use the article RSS feeds on their websites or blogs. This gains more exposure for the articles and regularly updated content for the websites or blogs, keeping the search engines happy.
This is why we insist upon good quality for the article directory. Poor quality will not gain anything for the writer or the directory owner. Before I submit an article to a directory I always ask myself if I would want that article on my websites or ezines if I hadn't written it. If the answer is no then don't submit it. By the way there are thousands of article directories out there and websites and ezines wanting content.

Article Guidelines
Please read the following guidelines before contributing. If at any time you have any suggestions to improve the site and the service please contact us.
Article Ownership
All articles submitted must be written by yourself; or for you by a copywriter and solely owned by you. No Private Label Rights articles allowed and plagiarism is strictly unacceptable. Any plagiarised or PLR articles found will be deleted, accounts terminated and new attempts at membership blocked.
Categories
Articles should be submitted to a category relevant to the content of the body of the article not what is advertised in the author bio. That makes it easier to find for those searching for specific information. If there isn't an appropriate category please contact us and ask for a new category to be added. Or alternatively you may submit your article to the category named 'Articles Abroad' and include your category suggestion in CAPITALS at the head of your article.
Website Links
You may add 2 links altogether. One to your main site or blog in the author bio and a link to the site you are using your article to promote, where you are asked to provide a link, but the links must be to your own website and not affiliate links. Your affiliate links should be on the websites that your articles are pointing to and not on this site. Using affiliate links could put publishers off using your articles on their sites.
Titles Or Article Heading
Should be in Title Format and not all in UPPER CASE or lower case. Your name, website address or anything self-promotional should only appear in the author bio and not be included in the title. The title should be relevant to the article and only contain one keyword or phrase, ideally at the beginning of the title. If you use ' or ? article directory scripts may convert them to webdings making your articles look a mess.
Short Description
Should be a brief outline of the article, to create interest and ideally not a copy of the first paragraph and not a repeat of the title. A keyword or phrase may be used here. Your name, website address or anything self-promotional should only appear in the author bio and not be included here. Unfortunately the software only allows 255 characters in this area and cuts any more off. You can check the character count in Word if you go into tools and then word count.
Article Body
All articles should be of 500 words or over with no exceptions. This is a requirement of many article directories nowadays because it keeps Google happy. We shall be providing a section on the forum for shorter articles and snippets. The content of articles should be well written, grammatically correct and contain information, advice and items of interest to readers. Images may be added to the articles but not promotional banners unless you are a paying member.
There should be paragraphs to break the article up for easier readability and no hard breaks. In other words the article should flow naturally and when written the enter key should only be used for new paragraphs. Ideally articles should be pasted from a notepad and not word or another website.
Keywords and phrases should not take up more than 4-6% of the article and the title shouldn't be repeated. Any more and it is considered to be spamming by the search engines and too much can spoil an article.
No links allowed in the article body to your websites or affiliate site, but you may include a link to a site of reference if it adds further information for the reader.
Author Bio
Should contain a little about you and be the only self-promotional area. You are welcome to add a link to your main site or blog there and a further link in the Website URL field but no affiliate links. You are limited to 400 characters which is something that we can't alter.
Article Promotion
It is a well known fact that bookmarking web pages to social bookmarking sites increases traffic to those pages. A list of social bookmarking sites can be found at http://socialposter.com After your article has been accepted please return and bookmark your articles. RSS feeds are also provided for use on your websites or blogs.
Automatic Submission
We do not accept articles from automatic submission companies unless by prior agreement. Those companies should abide by our terms and conditions and not submit articles unacceptable to this site. If there are too many problems then the ip addresses will be blocked.
Publishers
You are welcome to use articles from this site on your own websites, newsletters, ebooks or ezines providing that you retain the author bio and links and the article source. Articles should not be altered or added to without the authors permission. |
