Hello, my name is Patricia Jones and I own Articles Abroad. I live in West Yorkshire in the UK not far from the moors where the Bronte literature family lived.

The picture was an experiment with my new webcam taken shortly before a night out with the girls. It isn't brilliant but I look a little less middle aged than any of the other recent photos of myself - I'm allowed to be vain on my own site!

I like to think that I'm a writer first and foremost but I enjoy designing websites although I'm not all that good at it. I really struggle with scripts and software, probably because I'm too impatient to read instructions properly. With the advent of video tutorials I'm doing much better now.

This is my second home business. For 5 years I ran an offline information publishing mail order business until 2002. I published my own guides, a monthly magazine, ran a leaflet design and a mailing service, spread to the Internet in 2000 with a large magazine site and various other sites, did the Ebay thing and so much more that I found I didn't have a life. I dropped out for 5 years and came back with just an Internet business early in 2007. I got bored with just having a life and wanted the challenge.

During that time I have bean learning and relearning and checking out everything and every bit of information that I can find. I've built several sites including my established article directory BB Articles, a very useful site to own! Nearly a year on I felt that I had earned and learned enough to warrant splashing out for the software for this site. There is so much involved with using the software that I found it a bit daunting at first but now I'm getting there.

As I was heavily involved with Article Marketing it seemed natural when I got this software to combine my love of writing with my love of travel and build a niche directory. The Memberspeed software has a lot more functions than just an article directory so there will be more added functions in time. At present I am busy adding content and traffic building, but I have a few ideas on how I can improve the site.
